12th Annual Boys & Girls Club of Door County Celebrity Golf Outing
The Boys & Girls Club of Door County would like to thank all those involved in making our 12th Annual Celebrity Golf Outing a resounding success. The outing was held on Tuesday, June 15 at the prestigious Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor.
We have many to thank for the outcome of this event, which raised approximately $140,000 for the youth of Door County, bringing our twelve year fundraising total from these golf outings to over $1,000,000!
All of these funds stay in Door County to help support the Club which now serves nearly 200 youth every year.
The outing would not have been possible without the tremendous support of our Presenting Sponsor, Jim Olson Motors, our Eagle Sponsors, T. A special thank you goes to Nick Freimuth for conducting the live auction and maintaining an exciting atmosphere. Kudos to all who donated items for the live auction and the generous bidders who contributed to the success of the outing.
And then, there is our golf outing committee (Mary Croft, Dave Pape, Rich Board, Arleigh Porter, Fran Shefchik, Steve Kase and Elfriede Leporte) and the volunteers who help plan, work, organize and set up for this great event.

All of you are so appreciated, we couldn’t have done this without your support. Thank you, each and every one of you for making a difference in the lives of the youth of our community, who will ultimately be the future leaders of tomorrow.
